FMCSA Cargo Filing Requirement Terminated

As of 03.21.2011, only household good (HHG) carriers and HHG freight forwarders need to show proof of cargo filings (BMC-34). The FMCSA states that all carriers that received Notices of Investigation for Revocation of Authority with service date of February 19, 2011 or after due to cancellations of cargo insurance need not respond to those notices. Carriers will not be revoked as long as the effective cancellation date on their cargo insurance filing with the FMCSA is posted for 03.21.2011.
