FMCSA Registered ELDs

As you know, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has mandated that motor carriers must use electronic logging devices (ELDs) to track hours of service (HOS) beginning December 18, 2017. The move is intended to increase driver safety, and improve the ease and efficiency of reporting HOS. Prior to the December deadline, carriers may voluntarily implement ELDs, however they must be in compliance with FMCSA standards and be registered.
