Indiana Emergency Exemption

Indiana will grant an emergency exemption to Utility vehicles traveling into Indiana, due to extenuating circumstances, through Monday, July 18, 2011.  Due to recent storm damage and significant power outages across the northern portion of Indiana, the state will refrain from enforcing IFTA and IRP regulations to allow utility crews to travel into Indiana to restore electricity and power. This is only a temporary emergency execption.  Enforcement action will re-commence effective 12:00 am on Tuesday, July 19, 2011.
