Proposal to Prohibit Hand-Held Cell Phone Usage

On December 17, 2010 the U.S. Department of Transportation proposed a safety regulation that will ban truck and bus drivers from using hand-held cell phones while driving a commercial motor vehicle. The FMCSA allows 60 days for the public to comment on this new proposal.
