UCR Registration Delayed Until Nov. 1

The UCR Board of Directors recently announced it is delaying the start of the 2018 registration year to November 1 to provide the FMCSA with enough time to receive and publish comments on its proposed rulemaking for 2018 UCR fees, which are expected to drop for carriers at all levels.

The UCR submitted a 9.1% rate reduction recommendation to the FMCSA in March of 2017; the FMCSA will likely not make its final decision on the recommendation until sometime this month.

Do not submit your carrier fees or forms for 2018 until November 1. Your forms will be returned if they are received prior to November 1. Also, online registration will not be available before November.
